Juvenile Law

In the State of Vermont, when the court opens a juvenile proceeding, the child is appointed an attorney and a guardian ad litem. The parents also have a right to be represented during those proceedings. We represent both children and parents in juvenile court. We now offer low-bono assistance to foster parents who are negotiating Post-Adoption Contact Agreements in cases involving the termination of parental rights and responsibilities.

“Deb is a true professional who is honest, upfront, thoughtful, treats clients with great respect, is there when you need her, and who gets the work done in a very reasonable length of time – an attorney who truly cares and works very hard to do the best thing for her clients.”
